I was just on another forum and the question was, do you feel as if you are pressured to dress differently?
My answer was, because of my current lifestyle, I dont really have a set "STYLE", I can just wear jeans, tee shirt and some sneakers and be fine. But for the most part, I still do not feel confident with that "style". Mainly because Im 22, and I still look like Im 16!! People see me dressed so casually, and automatically mistake me for a teenager- not an adult. So I feel pressured in that way. But for the most part, I dont feel pressure at all.
What types of appearance pressures are you faced with?

well i always wear whatever i want, but now that i think about it you could say i am a little pressured. Like my one friend has huge boobs, and when she wears a low cut shirt, and when i'm not then i feel a little inferior lol. But if we're both wearing low cut shirts i feel fine. Other than that, i'm not pressered by my friends. hahahah

Oh I see what your saying. Its not that you feel inferior, you're kind of jealous! I mean c'mon, we're all girls. You may feel a bit jealous because you know that she has big boobs and when she's out showing them off, and you're not, she's gonna get the attention. Not you.
I know how that is mainly because I can get the same way too sometimes. Its human nature girl. Its nothing. Sometimes chicks/guys dont see THOSE KNOCKERS as attractive. Sometimes its better to work with something else.

I wear whatever i want. I like to be comfortable. Jeans and t shirts work for me. I don't wear stuff that's "in style" because for 1 i dont' care, and 2 that's not the real me. I'm very low matiance But i know alot of people who love fashion adn that's cool too, just as long as you don't get too carried aawy with how people think you look.

Its a balance. Great. I bet she's jealous when you show off other greater assets than your cleavage. (That looks so wrong when I read it back to myself, hahaha!) I used to think that about one of my close friends when she told me... "I hate it when you wear those skirts because all of the guys talk to you". So it's always like that. When you think that someone else has the best, you better believe that they're thinking the same of you. Let me tell you, I have a friend who is stacked, ok. She has bigger boobs, bigger butt, thicker legs... & again, I look like a little kid still going through puberty. Im scrawny (ok, maybe not scrawny, but Im thin and very lean) not to mention, I have a "babyface", I have features of a teenager. She's all woman... Im a kid. So who do you think all of the hot guys hit on first? Lol. You see how that "peer pressure" subliminally works its way over you mentally? Lol. I have that type of problem. I can't go to clubs and not get carded- twice! I have that type of pressure where its like "YOU NEED TO LOOK YOUR AGE!". Its annoying. The funny thing is, IM THE ONE WITH THE DARN FASHION DEGREE!!! *shakes head* So how does that look... like Im confused as to what I should wear for myself, but can put an outfit together for you in minutes!! Lol. This is almost twisted, like something out of the twighlight zone. Lol. AND BTW... YES Im very jealous of my friend & her BIG ASS! Thank You all... GOODNIGHT! *FALLS OUT OF CHAIR LAUGHING* ;D

I'm very low matiance But i know alot of people who love fashion adn that's cool too, just as long as you don't get too carried aawy with how people think you look. You bring up a valid point, like you shouldn't let others define how you should dress. You should dress for you. Most females dont. My cousin (a male) told me that, he thinks that women spend so much time and money on their appearance because we dress for OTHER WOMEN! I see the logic in that. I would on most days agree. But I can't because not EVERY woman is like that. I can't dress for another woman simply because I know that what she has on, may not look right on me. So when you dress yourself it should be for yourself within your comfort zone. Once you step outside of that, you're not doing anything for yourself anymore. Its not to make you happy. You'll never be satisfied. Find what makes you feel... sexy (if you will) and comfy. The reason why is because if you dont then you'll be so self conscious and that type of self indulgence SHOWS... no one wants to walk around looking paranoid all day. Thats not sexy. So wear what makes you feel good. Thats SEXY!
