I have no problem with the word. If you want to call me a bitch, fine do it. I mean I can be a bitch, in fact it's not uncommon for me to be a bitch. I don't usually use the word in seriousness. I usually will joking go to done of my friends "you bitch." I mean it's not something I'm going to say to someones face because it is offensive. No one wants to be called a bitch when the person actually means it.
I don't know, I'm all for freedom of speech, and anti-censorship so. You know.
I'm just a hippie libral without the pot so what can I say.

Lol @ Hippie Liberal w/o the pot!! Good One! ;D
But when has it been determined in society that the word "Bitch" can now officially metomorphisize itself into this endearing word? Its offensive to alot of people, how all of a sudden does it take on this dual meaning? and when shouldn't you use it?

That's why it's not something I say a lot. It's hard to tell when to say it and when not to. I mean when someone is being a bitch do you and they deserve to be called one, well yeah that's a good time. You just need to know the people you're with and know you can joke around about it. I'm not offended if someone calls me a bitch unless they really actually mean it, and usually I only care if I really love them. I don't want my friends to call me that seriously because I don't want them mad at me. It's defenitly a duel meaning, I mean it's never really endearing but it can be joking, but sometimes It depends on the way you say it, and the context, if I'm really calling someone a bitch, they know it.

I personally hate the word "bitch." I'm way too young for anyone to call me a bitch (13), but I wouldn't be able to take it if someone did call me that. I would have a major breakdown. But, people have "dirrty mouths" (what my mom calls herself when she swears), and I ahve to learn to deal with it.

Hmph, I've heard it come from younger when they felt like they're parents weren't around.

One of the girls at school called me a bitch jokingly yesterday. It didn't hurt I just laughed at her. I told her I didn't like celery because she offered celery to me when she almost hit me in the head with a microwave door, and when I said I didn't like it she was like *gasp* you bitch! I just laughed at her and was like. "MARAH!" *Gasp*
It doesn't bother me, and people throw it around a lot, I don't care.

Well honestly, in my opinion .. it depends about my mood. People have called me a b*tch before. I know it ... even if they dont say it up to my face. Everyone has been called one at one point or time. The thing here is that it would bother me for a day or two. But then I'd just think that why should I give a sh*t if someone calls me a b*tch becuz really, if they call you a bitch, it doesnt mean that you are. You know that you're so NOT a b*tch. Whoever said that is probblie one themselves. You know, like they say .. you gotta be a b*tch to know what a B*tch is. So dont let it affect you girl.

Once when I was 10, my friends and I were at lacrosse camp and we were chasing the boys. Now, for 9 and 10 year olds, those boys has some pretty strong language. My friend Erica was called a bitch and wound up in tears.

Yeah 9 & 10 years olds shouldn't be going around cussing like its ok. I had a friend in the 3rd grade whose mom let her curse. I thought that was so cool until I grew up and got older. I realized then that her parents didn't really care about her or they were being WAY TOO lenient with her. Needless to say, as a result of her early 'independence' of her parents so young, she has like 3 kids and not with any of their fathers, working minimum wage with no education. She should have had guidance instead she had parents that let her do whatever she wanted & the only guidance she received was from the streets. She should have had better. They were good people from what I saw (they let me come over and spend the night a few times) they just didn't know how to parent appropriately.
Now what does this have to do with calling someone a bitch? Sometimes this frank behavior comes from too much independence too soon, immaturity, lack of education or just plainly put general STUPIDITY!

It's not a nice word but I do play around with it sometimes. It only hurts when someone like a family member says it.
