I love this song of hers. It makes many good points.. lol. Yeah like theres such a double standard with females than there are for males. Guys can do all of these things and we're not supposed to do anything but if a girl does it... we're every name in the book. I love this song because she's just puts it out there so plainly, "Sometimes I wish I was just like a boy". I think that that song was meant for people to look at social labels... but instead people are like "Yo that is so cool. She wants to be a boy... ME TOO!" a game of tit for tat. But moreso, how would you feel if I did some of the things to you that you do/did to me? It's crazy. |

i totally agree with you on that.. guys do get away with things, but when the girl does that same thing they get yelled at and punished for..
its not fair and this song says that.
