I don't see anything wrong with it as long as it stays from being overtly raunchy (granted you are being sexual when you are showing affection anyway, like Kissing, but as long as it doesn't go beyond being sweet and not nasty and grotesque)

I don't agree. I honestly feel as though if you are going to be be in public you should display the same amount of respect for yourself and others as if you were out to dinner and keeping in mind the rules of dining etiquette.

Yes that makes sense too. But even hugging? Like is hugging beginning to be too much in society now too? (And I'm not referring to a "Hi, how are you?" hug I mean one of those lengthy hugs that usually turn into a lengthy smooch.) And are you saying that there are rules to public display of affection as there are dining rules? (Side note: Um I haven't heard from you in a very long time how the hell are ya?? ;D)

Hmmm, I don't like kissing in public.. I'm a little shy too. But I don't think making out is a nice view for other people! I'm okay with hugging tough.. I love hugs ^^

I was reading somewhere that hugs can be interpreted as being too sexual. I guess when people go from hugging to groping its a tad bit too much and so therefore they'd rather not see it at all. But I don't see anything wrong with either simply because if you see someone groping someone, it would be in better taste that you collect yourself and turn your attention to something other than what other people are doing.
my opinion.

my opinion. Exactly, sometimes I want to hug.. umm. a guy someone I like And I don't know I get embarrassed when someone is there watching even if it's just a normal hug.. sometimes I can't help it and make it a "long" hug.xP And I see people making faces and stuff especially at school.. We are just hugging!!! not making out!! =p But I don't care I just keep on hugging =)

I just think when ppl think of PDA they automatically think of OVER THE TOP sexual behavior...A simple hug or holding hands r signs of PDA and there is nothing wrong w/ that..ill even say a simple smooch is ok...everything else is not appropriate IMO
