Last week, I went into JCrew and purchased their new Bi-stretch Wool Minnie Pant. All the sales associates were wearing them. Each actually had on a different color and wore them differently. One wore them with sassy metallic flats and another wore the pants tucked into classic riding boots. Both looks were great! I wore my Minnie Pant for the first time yesterday at the office with some black flats and by midday, I was completely won over! These are going to be my go-to black pants this season. I love the way the Minnie Pants fall. They look like skinny pants, but ones that aren't so skin-tight, so they're wearable to many occasions. They feel so good on, like pants you wouldn't mind wearing if you were stuck at the office late at night, unlike those pants that you can't wait to take off as soon as you get to your front door at night (we've all got a pair of those!).
This Minnie Pant is a low-rise pant, sitting just above the hip and fitting through the hip and thigh with a slim, ankle-length leg. The pant zip up on the side and has a 27" inseam. It comes with belt loops and back welt pockets. JCrew calls this pant the "magic pant" because it looks good on everyone. The fabric stretches in both length and width due to the bi-stretch material, which is why it feels so comfy. The sales associate told me to go a size down because of this, which is what i would advise you to you too if you get these pants. They will stretch as you wear them through the day, but what I like is that at the end of the day, they still maintain their flattering, slim structure.
The pants are priced at $98 (I lucked out last week because they were on sale for $63!). You can choose from 5 different colors: Cobblestone (a Khaki), Henna (Red), Black, Heather Charcoal (Gray) and Parsley (Dark Green).
