I think that Kanye was, as said by the President, being a "Jackass". However, I have to agree that Taylor Swift winning the Best Female Video over Beyonce is a bunch of BS. However, with that being said, I'm not about to jump on stage and make a fool of myself just because (even in a drunken stupor)I feel like I'm the ambassador of all Music and not accept that someone else is getting an award for something that is beyond me.
I think that at the end of the day, that's Kanye's major problem, he thinks way too much of himself. And instead of it being looked at as him being CONFIDENT or being SMART, he becomes this asshole. And when you're in a business where you rely on other people as a means of living (which is almost everyone) you cannot do what he did. He's lost major Kool-Aid points with people because of that. And I honestly feel like it'll effect his career as a result. Also, it makes the very people that he represents and the ones who represent him look bad. It's just not a good look.

I was really angry about the whole Kanye/Taylor ordeal. I myself am a HUGE t swift fan and I thought that was so rude what he did. I agree that Kanye is cocky and now it seems like 90% of the population is against him now.

Yeah. I think that when he did that in Europe back in 06 (I think) people thought it was funny because of the artists that he interrupted and the way he handled himself afterward. But when he did it this time to Taylor (being she's a female and being that she's seemingly young, 17 years old) people were very angered by his actions. I think him doing it this time, was supposed to be funny again- but a lot of people are pissed that he would show his ass to a young girl. That was despicable of him to do such a thing. I really wished he would have saved his rant until after the awards show. I really do.

Every lip slip he has made in the past has been made toward someone of the Caucasian race. If bashing former President Bush wasn't bad enough he had to bring Taylor Swift to tears at the VMA's. He seriously should be banned from future award shows, but that will not happen because let's face it we all know Kanye will make an off color statement which in the end everyone will be talking about the next day and that's what he wants.

I think Kanye needs to grow up. He's a big kidd to the fullest. I can understand when a person is a kidd at heart because I'm one of those people. But, Kanye he doesn't care what kind of publicity he gets anymore, good or bad, obviously. Kanye just wants to look as impulsive as possible. That's all fine and well to me, but at another person's stake, it's not fair. He should have contained himself a lot more better than he did. You would think by now that Kanye would learn to live and learn, but I guess he lives more than he learns. I hope Kanye won't be surprised when he becomes washed up, sooner than what he thinks. If he thinks he's going to be washed up at all.
Taylor a innocent teenage girl really??? If I was face to face with Kanye that's all I would have to say. Kanye, your becoming a disgrace seriously. You need help, my brother.

Aside from Taylor, I think that some other things that he's said, as random as they were, were a bit inflammatory, but I've come to understand that perhaps that's how he plans on propelling himself- through being as explosive and straight to the point as possible. He wants to be the guy in hip hop who will say the things that people are thinking but are afraid to actually say. |
