September 9th: "Female" vs "Woman" Do you have a reaction being referred to as a "Female" vs being a "Woman"? Why?

September 9th: "Female" vs "Woman" Do you have a reaction being referred to as a "Female" vs being a "Woman"? Why? Nope to me they are the same. So, it isn't a big deal to me.

I think that there is a bit of a difference. A "female" can be any person with a vagina to me. However, being acknowledged as a "Woman" it gives you a sense of maturity and wisdom.
I'd rather be acknowledged as a woman but at the same time, I don't feel as though I'd be highly offended if someone called/referred to me as a "female"- I am, its the truth. Lol.
