Details relating to the secret wedding have landed online Tuesday (September 8) afternoon.
It all went down close to midnight at the legendary Little White Wedding Chapel -- the same place Britney Spears married that Jason Alexander dude back in 2004. According to Milian's marriage license, the two said "I Do" at exactly 12:00 AM Friday morning. We're told Milian rented her wedding dress for $200 (including shoes and veil) and The Dream rented his tux for $100 (including shoes, tie and vest). It's no big surprise they got hitched -- as we first reported, the two applied for a marriage license last month ... and those things are only good for 90 days. (TMZ)
Reports of the two applying for a marriage license took light last month.
Milian, 27, and her fiance Terius "The Dream" Nash, 31, have applied for a marriage license in Los Angeles, which means that they officially have 90 days to tie the knot. Although the two have been a couple for quite some time, they tried to keep their relationship under wraps. They've been photographed together extensively over the last few months, and though Milian started rocking a six-carat engagement ring last spring, she confirmed just one month ago that she was, in fact, engaged to her producer boyfriend. At the time, she said they planned on keeping the ceremony simple and intimate: "We just want to have our closest friends and family there; it's not going to be too big." (Latina)
Hip-Hop couples like Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey along with Jay-Z and Beyonce previously held secret weddings.
After years of speculation, singer Beyonce Knowles wed her longtime boyfriend, rapper Jay-Z, on Friday, a friend of the couple's tells People Magazine. Though there is no official confirmation, the friend says, "It happened earlier this evening. Jay wanted it to be a really private affair -- close friends and family." (People Magazine)
Jay recently spoke on the difficulty of keeping his marriage to Beyonce on the low.
"Yeah, when you're a public person, you have to keep some things to yourself, or else," Jay said in the interview with Oprah Winfrey. "[The wedding was] late planning! Very few [people attended.] The sad part is that we offended some. But people who love you understand. Because at the end of the day, it's your day." (O Magazine)
