 R&B singer Chris Brown was arrested Sunday night by Los Angeles cops for allegedly beating up a woman, and insiders identified the victim as his superstar girlfriend Rihanna.
Sources said Brown beat sexy superstar Rihanna, 20, after they fought in his car after a gala party.

"She got out of the car to walk home. He got out to stop her," said the source. "Things got physical. He hit her, possibly more than once. She had multiple bruises."
A security guard at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles told the Daily News Sunday night that he saw Rihanna being taken for treatment at the hospital.
"She's been released," said guard Rodderick Brown.
Rihanna and Chris Brown, 19, were both scheduled to perform at the Grammys, but pulled out at the last minute.
Rihanna's publicist Amanda Silverman claimed the "Umbrella" singer was only involved in a traffic mishap but "is fine."
The Los Angeles Police Department would not identify the woman who was attacked, citing confidentiality.
The sweet-faced "Run It!" singer turned himself in at a police precinct.
"[Brown] is a person of interest in the incident," said LAPD spokeswoman April Harding.
Police said the domestic violence and battery incident took place about 12:30 a.m. Sunday in the affluent neighborhood of Hancock Park.
"Brown and the woman were inside of a vehicle," Harding said. "According to the victim they became involved in an argument. . . . The argument escalated into an altercation."
By the time cops responded to the scene following a 911 call, Brown was gone.
Brown and Rihanna were seen earlier Saturday night at a pre-Grammy gala hosted by music mogul Clive Davis in Beverly Hills.
The two posed for pictures and were spotted kissing before they hopped into a waiting silver Lamborghini.
The pop world's power couple have been dating for over a year, and rumors have swirled that they were engaged.
Yet there were rumblings in recent days about troubles, and sources described the Barbados-born beauty as a clingy girlfriend who can't bear to have Brown out of her sights.
Brown's planned performance as the evening's second musical number was replaced by Justin Timberlake and Al Green. Wow. I never thought Chris Brown would have it in him to be a woman beater after he openly admiting to being witness to his own mother being abused by his step- father! Apparently, his bail is $50,000 and he was booked at about 8:41 tonight. {Peep TMZ.com for his booking info  ) On the 6th, the two of them are seen leaving a Blackberry Pre-Grammy party (below), where Rihanna performed and visibly annoyed with Chris (or whomever she's talking to on her phone) Plus, there are photo's floating around the net that show the two of them in a distant state of mind. Chris is visibly giving attitude while Rihanna seems quite confrontational. Don't know what's going on, but I'm following this closely for updates! Rumors have been flying around about the two of them having problems for a while. Most reports claiming Rihanna's jealousy and "clinginess" to Chris because he's been possibly cheating on her, others claim that the fights have been a direct result of one giving the other an un-treatable STD (ouch! ). But either or, I don't think anyone could have seen this coming. I hope Rihanna is ok and I hope that this is really a misunderstanding and that Chris did NOT have any involvement and that its a big misunderstanding. But I can't see Chris putting his hands on Rihanna. They seem so "lovey dovey" together. |

I still can believe this , I'm in shock.. Chris seems like a really nic guy that wouldn't do such thing.
And I feel bad for Rihanna hope that she gets better !

Me too! I think like along with everyone else, we didn't see this coming. Like with certain entertainers, you can see them during the course of their career descend. But for Chris this was unexpected. I honestly feel like his career is going to be over from this incident.
Although he is still young and has his whole life to bounce back, I don't think that this will go away as easily like other stars who have their brushes with these ugly situations and how easily they are forgotten. This is going to haunt him and stunt him. I just wish that he would have stopped to think about what he was about to do. I feel for Chris (but I don't condone his actions what so ever).
And Rihanna... I sure hope that this doesn't scar her personal growth. I hope that this doesn't make her not trust her instincts in others. I hope that she will be able to rebound and kick ass. I wish the best for her and a speedy recovery (I heard she was in the hospital all day).

Yeah I didn't expect this and I feel bad for Chris too
I listen to Chris Brown's music more, I have like 3 songs of Rihanna
I told a few of my classmates today during lunch and they were shocked cause all the girls in my class loves Chris. They were shocked too..
I wish the best for Rihanna too cause she's an awesome singer and very popular here!
and Chris I hope they forgive him even though he did a very BAD thing.

NEW YORK, New York -- Rihanna 's father, Ronald Fenty, has spoken out about the alleged attack on his daughter by boyfriend Chris Brown last weekend.
"You think you know somebody, but you really don't," he told People.
Brown allegedly bit and hit the "Disturbia" singer last Saturday night, hours after the two were spotted together at a pre-Grammy party honoring Clive Davis in Beverly Hills.
"There is some bruising," Fenty said of Rihanna 's current status.
According to People, he saw his daughter in Barbados on Thursday, though according to an interview with Us Magazine on Saturday, he denied contact.
"No, I haven't seen her," Fenty told Us. "I haven't seen her bruises."
In both interviews, he hopes that she'll use the experience to do good.

"She will be alright," he told People. "At some point, she will speak out. I hope she will stand up for women all over the world."
While he didn't shed light on what happened that night, the events seemed to come as a surprise to Fenty.
"They seemed pretty happy," he said. "I don't know what went wrong."
And as for the future of Rihanna 's relationship with Brown, he has one piece of fatherly advice.
"If it were me, I'd move on," he said.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Chris Brown's father says the R & B star is remorseful following his arrest on suspicion of attacking a woman widely believed to be pop star Rihanna, People magazine reported on its Web site on Friday.
Clinton Brown, who lives in Toppahannock, Virginia, told the magazine his son is "home" but would not give a location.
"He's reflecting on this situation," Clinton Brown told People. "He's very remorseful. He's very concerned about the situation and he wants to make sure that (Rihanna's) okay."
Police and prosecutors have not officially disclosed that Rihanna was the victim of Brown's attack early Sunday morning in Los Angeles ahead of the Grammy Awards. But unnamed police sources told the Los Angeles Times she was the victim, and numerous media outlets have reported the same information.
Brown turned himself in to police hours after the incident in the early morning hours this past Sunday, and he was booked on suspicion of making criminal threats against a woman. The Los Angeles Police Department took the case to prosecutors Tuesday, but were told to investigate it further.
Prosecutors will not charge Brown before next week at the earliest, said Sandi Gibbons, a spokeswoman for the L.A. District Attorney's Office.
Celebrity websites and magazines have reported that the incident happened shortly after Brown left a party in a car with Rihanna as his passenger. Rihanna suffered bruises on her face and a split lip, according to several reports.
Rihanna, 20, whose hit songs include "Disturbia" and "Umbrella," was a no-show at the Grammy Awards on Sunday and the NAACP Image Awards on Thursday night, and she canceled an Asian concert trip scheduled for this week.
Brown, 19, was also absent from the same two awards shows, and he withdrew from a celebrity event this weekend as part of the NBA all-star game. The pop star is known for his dancing prowess and for songs like "Forever" and "Kiss Kiss."

Chris Brown Breaks His Silence About Rihanna Incident

Chris Brown says he is seeking counseling from loved ones and family members, one week after an alleged attack against his girlfriend, singer Rihanna.
"Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God's help, to emerging a better person."
The 19-year-old R&B singer issued a brief statement today through publicist Michael Sitrick. In it, Brown also says many of the reports about the incident are incorrect, although he doesn't provide further details.
"Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else. Those posts or writings under my name are frauds."
Screengrabs of a fake Facebook page circulated online late last week, but was quickly determined to be a hoax.
Brown turned himself in on Feb. 8 and was booked on suspicion of making a criminal treath, but no charges have been filed yet. He is free on $50,000 bail while the case is being investigated.
On Friday, Brown's father said his son is at home and "very remorseful" over what happened. Rihanna is now at home in Barbados recuperating.

Rihanna & Chris are back together!!!
After almost 3 weeks after this "incident", the couple are back and went off to Miami Beach's Star Island together.
