What some things do you think ought to be banned? Should the government have stricter rules on certain things?

Personally, I honestly feel as if something, whether it be an object or activity, is deemed unhealthy or a hazard to your well being, then it should be automatically banned. However, that conflicts with my opinion of things being left to the discretion of that individual (make your own decisions). But I think that that should only have to come into play when a person is unable to make rational decisions on their own.
