Congrats to her  Jamie Lynn Spears, 17, the younger sister of Britney Spears, gave birth to daughter Maddie Briann at Mississippi Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb, Miss. She weighed 7 lbs., 11 ounces. Britney and her father, Jamie, flew from L.A. to Kentwood, their Louisiana hometown, for the birth. Casey Aldridge, the baby's father, and Jamie Lynn are engaged but have delayed their marriage until after the birth. |

Forgive me, but this is why here in America we've seen such a rise in teen pregnancies. Hollywood, I feel does nothing, but glamorizes it!!

Forgive me, but this is why here in America we've seen such a rise in teen pregnancies. Hollywood, I feel does nothing, but glamorizes it!!Well I disagree. Because when the news of her being pregnant came out, it was a lot of backlash against her. Plus, there's been pregnant teenagers since forever. Hollywood played no part in that & to be honest they didn't really play a part in this either. Jamie just so happens to be a pregnant teen star and because of that, she's in the media a lot for being pregnant just like Jessica Alba was and Halle Berry or Gwen Stephani and so will Ashlee Simpson and the many others who become pregnant at this time. Hollywood can't raise your kids. Although a lot of celeb parents blame the lifestyle for their childs outlandish behavior, she was only 16 when she became pregnant! What type of lifestyle could she had lead at that age? She still lived at home for crying out loud. Sometimes, you have to look at that back story to find the answers. So for this I wont blame the glitz and glamor of HOLLYWOOD because if thats the case then you have to with every case of teen pregnancy on this planet! |
