I like songs that have a good beat to them, I mean lyrics are important, but a good beat is what I like about a song.

When I hear a song for the first time, I listen to the beat to decipher weather I like it or not. Also I listen to the genre of music too, if it;s rap or hard metal then I'm out. Then after listening to the beat and getting the lyrics down, and when I have the urge to stop singing the friggen song, I listen tot he worrds and peice the song together. Some awesome beats can turn out really sad =[

Because I can tell you, there are so many songs out there that have a nice tempo & the beat is great but the content of the song SUCKS!! And vise versa. |

Yeap, thats what I'm saying. It just doesn't match up right. Because you'll get a realy good beat and you think something good is going to happen, then someone gets shot.. wtf... O.o
