What Makes a Best Friend? To you what makes a best friend?
To me a best friend is someone who may not be related to you but loves you unconditionally. They listen and tell you things that you need to hear... not always what you want to hear. They give you advice even when you dont ask for it. But at the same time they understand you so much to give you your space when you need it. They are that shoulder to cry on when your loser BF dumps you. ;D A Best friend is always bias when it comes to you. And they will do almost anything for you. Which is what makes them, YOUR PERSON! (A little "Grey's" term for you.)  |

I'm going to speak from what I have with my best friend, because I think speaking from experince usually is pretty good, lol.
Well my mom always says biology/DNA does not determine who loves you, because you can have friends who will do just as much or more than your own family will, and in some of my own personal experiences it results to being very accurate.
I have a best friend and we don't even call each other best friends we call each others sisters because that is how we feel, we don't have the same blood running through our veins but the closeness between us, surpasses it.
I believe a best friend is someone.
-Like Toya said, even though you are you not related through biology you don't let it interfer with your friendship and how much friends care for each other, unconditionally.
-A best friend is someone who is there for you through the good and the bad, thick and the thin, a person who doesn't let things tear you away from one another but brings you closer together and stronger friends.
-Someone who is loyal, someone you can count on.
-Who will always be on your side no matter what.
-But most of all it's a promise between friends that what you do for me I do for you no matter what happens, we are in this together, because we are friends and that is how is shall remain.

Simply to me a best friend is someone that is here to listen to you, someone that is willing to go out of their way to make you happy, someone that tells it how it is and doesn't put the icing on the cake, a person that doesn't feed into/onto the nonsense around them and then bring sit round you, some one that can make you laugh even your at your worst moment. :] some one that you took bubblebaths with when you were younger.

Honestly I'm not too sure..."Best friend" is hard to define. I have a hard time defining "friend" in the first place...so what would a best friend be? Probably someone honest, caring, and loyal. Someone you can tell anything too and they'll stick by your side. Someone you can goof around with, like singing in a store or dancing to your favorite song. Or someone you can totally "make fun of" because they know you're only joking.(and vice versa) Someone that you can tell you relationship issues too...idk it's kinda confusing... what really does make a best friend?

a friend is someone that YOU can trust and count on when you are having a bad time in your life. a friend is someone that will NOT judge u on wat u wear. a friend will NEVER laugh at you about a crush or if you do something stupid they woudl be there for you in that time of need!! :-*
