Project Runway!

So i just got into this show a week or so ago, and I love it! If you love America's Next Top Model I'm sure you'll take an interest in Project Runway. I'm soo addicted already!

For the people that don't know... Project Runway is a competition show all about fashion design! There's basically a number of deisgners, and they are given a different task each episode. They basically all design someting for their model that fits the theme, and then models have a quick runway show displaying the designs. The designer with the worst design is out, and the winner of the challenge is immune to losing the next challenge.

Anyways! If you do watch the show, who is your favorite? It's hard for me to choose a favorite, most of them are very good. I love all of the finalists though. Christian is my fav, (of course everyone likes him, he won fan favorite), Jillian, and Rami. But for the final collections Chris was my favorite, i loved the gothy look! click here to see the collection!

I watched Project Runway the first two seasons. After that, I became very angry with the fact that I cant design nor be as creative as the people on the show. Granted most of them have some sort of experience in the fashion field. I wasnt even out of college when this aired and was just very jealous that I spent (or was spending) two years of my life and haven't reached a point where I could do what they were doing. (I have a degree in Fashion Merchandising & I've taken interest to designing and took a design class)

But overall, the show is excellent. I loved it. But ever since my desire for fashion design has sort of fizzled out and I dont really care for it anymore. Im still inspired by fashion, but Im not motivated to try to design anything anymore. Graphic design is now my thing.

I understand what you mean, cuase i get jealous of what they can design too, and i'm all like "wow that's amazing, if i wanted i could never be a designer..." and i dont even want to be a designer. So for someone like you who has done a lot of designing classes and such, it makes sense that you'd be jealous. I think the show just makes any person jealous... I mean they're awesome designers and have a chance to make their designs public. (or more public) But plus they have a lot of experience in fashion. Christian said his design was on a front of a magazine, and he designed a dress for Jessica Alba.

Oh well a dream is a dream. But I think that if you are into Fashion its a great show to watch its full of suspense, drama, creativity, eye candy (sometimes) and just all around fabulousness.

But I dunno, watching a fashion competition just doesn't faze me anymore. Like I dont get all excited like I used to. Which is odd because I will break my neck to tune into America's Next Top Model. So I dont quite understand. But whatev.

My new favorite show these days is Gossip Girl. Never thought Id be interested since Im from the "Clueless" era. But its awefully entertaining.

i watched the end of project runway, but was a little disappointed with the result...anyone else watch it?
