Its finally that time of year. Your Junior/Senior year when that dreaded assignment is lurking for the college of your choice- you, little poor old you are required to write (why would they torture me like this?) an essay about something you should know plenty about... YOU! Your hands sweat and and her legs tremble. You slowly prop yourself in your computer chair and stretch... for this is final frontier- or so it looks. What Are You Gonna Write? What Is Going To Be Your Tone? How Are You Going To Prepare Your Intro? How Much Will You Talk About Your Major? AAHHHHHHHHHH! Enough is enough! Get it over with already, right? WRONG! This is your future all typed out on a few sheets of paper... its to be taken serious but don't be afraid to have fun with it. Here are some pointers on acing & what you should do when writing for your college admission paper & interview. Click Here

I gotta tell you. When it came time for me to write mine, It was hard mainly because I think that my main focus was HOW CAN I STAND OUT FROM THE REST? So what I went on to do was go and read some autobiographies and see how those authors "Voices" were portrayed throughout the book. I was too focused on having a "Voice" and in that trying to be different.
It was a great essay in the end but my advisor told me to just write an ESSAY... I wasn't trying to win a pulitzer so why focus on telling a story rather than EXPLAINING a story.
So my advice is, just think of an event of your life that you'd like to eloborate on and TELL IT!! Don't be like me... OVERLY trying. Just do it.
