Summer is over, the magic of the season has faded. After an awsome summer, the gang is all back at East High. And, just like last year, things are far from perfect. Drama and hormones flurish. Troy and Gabriella, now Seniors, are still happily together. But with the ice princess, Sharpay Evans, on the prowl, will she manage to break up these to lovers? Her brother, Ryan, is beginning to become his own person and step out of the shadow of his sister. But what will Sharpay think about this?
