 Let Us Know...I feel like I've tried alot of remedies on this forum to make it more interesting and more appealing to everyone. Miss is catered to EVERYONE... but how can I do more for YOU if YOU don't give me anything to work with? This is why the suggestions board is here, I know that MISS isn't the best forum that you've been on... so why not help work towards making it that way? We all have our opinions on how to make it better... theres no need for only one person to have influence over Everything on the forum since this is YOUR forum as well (More yours than mine, because everything that I do on this forum is for YOU ALL). Help me help you by telling me what it is that you guys would like to see on the forum... Be as blunt as you'd like because at the end of the day you are the ones benefitting from the changes and modifications. |

well Im working on that... I've started a myspace page for promotional use only! That way it doesn't affiliate with my personal page... I'll be advertising my boards all of the active sites will be linked & everyone will have the chance to go and check them out, but at the same time, lets say we do get more active members, then what?
I don't think that more members would change anything. I understand that people set an atmosphere, but I think that the situation will be the same. People will come and see that the forum looks nice but then they will also notice that there are only a couple of regular posters on the forum... thats not much encouragment to come and post!
How can we keep Miss Active?

PROMOTION! THIS SITE IS DEAD!! Yeah well you know what... I bust my ass to promote and advertise this forum and you know what if you are one who thinks that the board is so 'dead' then, not to sound rude or anything, but maybe you should start trying to help make it better! You joined I didn't... I created it because I felt like theres a void in places for young ladies to go on the net and just be ladies. This is becoming redudant by the second, but you know what I could care less because at least at the end of the day, I can say that I'VE TRIED! If you think its dead then tell me, what do you suggest we should do besides promoting? Because to be honest with you I promote EVERY SINGLE DAY... in case you haven't noticed, there's 6 NEW affiliates at the bottom in the affiliates scroller on the main page AND I just added us to ANOTHER topsite list! So the site being 'dead' is not any fault to me. When you create a forum, and gain members, those members are the ones who make the COMMUNITY flourish. Yes the administrator sets the tone, offers incentives and such but its up to the members to want to do any of those things on the forum. Im sorry but Im starting to think that that was an attack towards my intelligence as well as my hard work! When I asked "What would you like?" Im asking you straight up, what would you like... not what do you think we should do to get more members so that you could feel like your at a popular forum? If you feel that Miss needs better promotion then you are welcomed to join the street team that Im putting together!! And for the record, I don't care too much about Member count, I just want those people who are here to participate and become active, that's all! Miss was never designed to be a HUGE forum. So again I ask YOU, What Would You Like? What would you like to see here at Miss to make your stay here more entertaining to you? |

uhh have different compititons maybe...uhh maybe not all graphic ones maybe like who can bring the most people to Miss in a month or writing comps...uhh can't think of anymore but yeah idk i'm not too good with this stuff [[:

I never did any graphics competitions because we don't have alot of people here that may have a graphics program on their PC (other than paint and thats not something that you can use with photos too well) Im working on a writing contest. We have a referral system on Miss but I think I'd rather have new members come in and actually say who referred them to this forum if they were referred. I have a lot of ideas, but I wanted to intregrade them with the newsletter, which btw, isn't really coming along as I thought it would because there aren't enough people working on it. As soon as I find members who will actually be here and not talk smack about why they're not here, then we can start to move towards actually executing some creative ideas & plans. |

Actually Im not ready for the newsletter yet, only because I feel like our audience isn't that large for one, I mean I guess we can still do the small one that I usually post here...
