Equally I think that everyone should seriously do research on who they'd want as the next president of the United States... but nonetheless, this will be a very historic candidacy and each candidate has a very promising run for presidency.
What do you think of this up coming election for president and its candidates?

I hope Hilary doesn't win. From what I've heard she doesn't handle bad situations well, (which i know it's hard to be in a bad situation believe me been there done that!), and I've also heard she's a huge liar. I just want someone who can actually run our country, to run it. Being a girl, I'd love to have a female president, but I just don't think Hilary would make a good president. I dont think gender or race matters in elections. I just want the better candidate that will help our country the best win. I just hope people aren't going to vote for her just because she's a woman, that's just not right, especially because she's not the best candidate. I dont agree with everything she says, especially because she's all anti-gay. blah blah blah. or so i've heard...

Im not sure she's anti-gay. I haven't heard that. If Im wrong, then someone correct me. But I think that she COULD be a dependable president. Again, I think that between the two democratic front runners (Clinton & Obama) it will be a historic running. But I think I'd vote for Hilary. I just want someone who can relate to me and my needs. It has nothing to do with what party your running in its what you stand for. What you plan on doing to change the damage thats already been done and how you plan on making the country better.

Hillary clinton has no business being president. And it's scary that people will vote for he just because she's a woman. She's not qualified. She is always for everything no matter how wrong it is, because she wants votes and she dosent' want to be against anything controversial because she might make someone mad. That's not the kind of leader we need. We need a leader who will stand up for waht is right, not what is popular, and Hillary Clinton is not that person.

I'm glad someone sees my side of it! Honestly I dont think she'll win anyways. I only know of a few people that want her to win, and it's only because she's a woman.

Wow, it's rare to find someone who agrees with me It's sad that people will vote for someone purely because of their gender or ethnicity. It shouldn't be about that, it should be about what they stand for, and how qualified they are to assume the position.

You both are right. If anyone goes to the polls to vote a "GIRL" for president because they're exerting "GIRL POWER" then they are cutting themselves short. Its wise to learn about who you vote for first to better aclimate yourself with what that person stands for. Because if they conflict, then whats the point? It totally defeats the purpose.
Who here is old enough to vote and will vote for who they think is the best candidate OR is only voting because they're parents feel like this is the best candidate?
Be honest.

Oh you'll be 17? You poor thing.
You know what though... although you wont be old enough to vote you can still voice your concerns to show that although you wont be old enough to vote NOW, you'll be old enough to vote WHOMEVER out of the office if it comes to it. There are places all over the net where people can speak out on the political figures in the upcoming elections.
