Michelle Obama Dating Advice Glamour December 2009 – Michelle Obama who styled herself is the cover girl of Glamour Magazine December 2009 and has been awarded the Woman of the Year title by the mag.The First Lady sat down with guest columnist Katie Couric for an interview where she gave relationship advice to the single ladies, saying: “Cute’s good. But cute only lasts for so long, and then it’s, Who are you as a person?.Don’t look at the bankbook or the title. Look at the heart. Look at the soul. … When you’re dating a man, you should always feel good. … You shouldn’t be in a relationship with somebody who doesn’t make you completely happy and make you feel whole. One thing that I’ve learned from male role models is that they don’t hesitate to invest in themselves.”

I totally agree...Looks are not everything, and they don't last forever. I stand by that.
She looks amazing on the cover to me. I love the pose, the hair, everything!
lmao.

Yeah... I think that the advice is great because it just goes to show that looks are only skin deep. And another part of just being "cute" is that sometimes people will be who that other person wants them to be just for the sake of having someone to be with, but what happens when the other person wants to settle and get serious? How will your "cuteness" work out in that situation? Cute is for people who aren't looking for anything permanent or aren't trying to be serious. And even in that sense, cuteness just isn't mature. Period. Leave the cuteness for babies and puppies.
