For a brief time on Sunday, the world's attention was diverted from Kim Kardashian on the occasion of her younger sister Khloe marrying Lakers player Lamar Odom in a grotesque orgy of tabloid excess. So naturally, Kim did what it took to get the attention of a few vapid magazine editors and bloggers focused back on herself: She flew to New Orleans and reunited with her on-and-off Saints player boyfriend, Reggie Bush. And all is right with the world because we are talking about Kim again.
Bossip reports that attending Khloe's wedding along with some members of Reggie's family made Kim miss her fellow, and she was spotted at LAX bound for New Orleans Sunday night. "They're totally back together for real," a source told People. "Kim and Reggie spent a few months apart getting their priorities together and figuring out who they were as individuals so they can make it work together."
The couple split in late July after two years of dating, blaming the breakup on their busy schedules. But just weeks later, Kim was in New Orleans trying to rekindle the relationship, and now it appears they're back together for good. Ish. Frankly, we'd go to New Orleans every few weeks just for the beignets, but Reggie is kind of cute, too. Incidentally, Kim seems to be a good luck charm. In Sunday's victory over the Buffalo Bills, Reggie had 13 carries for 64 yards. Did Jessica Simpson Screw Up Tony Romo's Last Game?
So we can't help but wonder now how Kim will monetize this latest turn in her life. Sister Kourtney has the pregnancy angle covered, and surely Khloe can wring a few more bucks out of her honeymoon pictures and/or taking Lamar's kids shopping for World's Best Stepmom thongs or something. Maybe Reggie and Kim build some monstrosity covered in gilt and Spanish moss in the French Quarter and sell the pictures to OK! Ooh, or they could adopt. That's fashionable.
