The world of Jon and Kate Gosselin is about to get even more dramatic (if that's possible), as photos of Kate apparently spanking one of her children has been given to PopEater exclusively by In Touch Weekly.

Is spanking children acceptable?

I have to say yes it is. Because I believe that children will behave better knowing that their behaviours lead to them getting a sore bottom once or twice. But I also feel like the parent shouldn't spank in anger either.

I agree with you too, especially when they're younger, just so they know that behaving badly has its consequences. As for older children/teens around 12 or 13 shouldn't be spanked or touched in any physical way, they should be grounded at the very most but they are probably mature enough to listen to verbal warnings.

I don't agree with the older teens, some of them don't respond well to being grounded and need more discipline then that, but then again that is just my views on this.
