Good Guy Or Bad Boyz?

FOR THE RECORD:

Im torn between the two (I Love that song)...
Ive been known to date guys who are quiet, very intellegent, Loves his mama and mine =D, and doesn't cater to the image of what a 'real man' is supposed to be because of material independance. However, I have also dated guys who are 'warriors'; they are fighters and have fought for everything that they have and in a sense are still fighters. They aren't the type of guys that my mother would like, but I did because I like to feel secure in my guys presence. He's usually street smart.

So if I had to choose, I'd most likely say a good guy simply because at the end of the day, I know I can hold my own. I don't need a guy to validate my femininity. There has to be some type of an upgrade in the relationship for the both of us. A balanced compromise where he gets what he wants, I get what I want and we both make each other the best that we can be. To me thats what matters. I don't care how many guys he's roughed up in an ally or bar, I don't care what he got on his SATs or if he received a regents diploma or not, I just care about how in the end will I be effected in all of this.

How do you guys define that "Thug" quality in guys?

I don't know because most of the boys I go out with act like there thugs and I've been with quite a few.....maybe more real thugs but the only way I that I have a thug and I've been paying attention to this but everytime I'm involved with a thug and he gets in trouble he seems to change his apperance and idenity but not his ways. I remember when I got involed with someone like that I swear being a bottom bitch is had job I had to change schools and move from place to place beacuse of him.
