Its Your Time To Shine... Just Not On My Stage!! Pretty Ricky dropped their opening act, new rap duo 2XL, from their Late Night Special Tour, reports sohh.com.
The brothers Royal and Laze, who form 2XL, have been slowly creeping up the charts with their new single "Magic City." Sohh.com reports they believe they were axed from the tour because Pretty Ricky resents the attention their fans give to 2XL.
2XL were dropped after only nine out of 25 scheduled performances.
2XL said, "This was our first nationwide tour, and our first chance to see our fans personally. It's sad to see that Pretty Ricky's camp couldn't stand seeing another group getting a positive reaction... supposedly, we were interfering with their merchandise flow. We were disappointed about the news when we found out, not because we had to stop the tour, but because we too have fans waiting to see us at these shows in upcoming cities."
2XL's debut album is called Neighborhood Rapstar, and features production by Scott Storch, and features DJ UNK and Candy Hill.
Pretty Ricky representatives have not yet responded.
Thats a damn shame! But what would you do if this was you... your career & life invested in making money and your best selling asset being yourself, what would you do?
