I've never believed that this was strictly a girl's disorder, as just as many boys can suffer from it aswell Actually, its the converse.

Huh it never even cross my mind that it could only be a male dissorder becasue my best friend (female) hass it. My other best friend (male) has it as well. Now to think of it allot of my friends have this...

I do hope that more people start seeing it as an any sex can suffer disorder like us peeps here do

i know a boy who has adhd, very funny lad, a great laugh, he always had a funny opinion about something.But once he slapped me accross the face out of nowhere for no reason, but i understand why. i havent seen him about two years, we changed 2 different high skools

He did that for a reason and Im sorry, and Im not judging you, but to act as if its acceptable is really sad. People who have ADHD have an emotional/mental problem. They have a hard time rationalizing things, yes they have anger problems, but if they hit you... it was premeditated! And that should NEVER be acceptable.

i know what you mean, but this was before we new about him having adhd, so my mam complained to our principal about him and she said, not me "he has a mental problem and takes out any anger he has on other people , even if they you didnt do anything.He hit your daughter because he was having a moment" i found out later that he had an argument with his friend and took it out on me, but i wasnt saying that he had no control of his physical side, he does. sorry if u thought if i was being mean
